Ingredients
- Sweet Corn Sticks - 6 pieces
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Chinese green beans - 17.6 oz
- Green onion tops - 1 bunch
- Celery salt - ½ teaspoon
- Paprika - ¾ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Carefully slice the corn cobs into thin rounds using a sharp knife.
Step 2
Cut the green beans into small pieces and boil them in salted boiling water for about 3 minutes until tender. Transfer to a plate and cool.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the finely chopped green onions and celery seeds. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes until the onions are soft.
Step 4
Add the corn and season with salt. Sauté for another 3–5 minutes.
Step 5
Then add the green beans and paprika. Season with salt and pepper and cook for another couple of minutes until the beans are heated through.
