Ingredients
- Bacon - 1.8 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Sage - to taste
- Celery salt - 2 pieces
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Salad Potatoes - 4 pieces
- Courgette - 3.5 oz
- White Cabbage - 7.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Rice - 7.1 oz
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Parmesan Cheese - 1.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the bacon into strips.
Step 2
Peel and dice the potatoes and zucchini.
Step 3
Chop the celery root, onion, and carrot. Sauté the vegetables with the bacon in butter. Then pour in the hot broth. Add the potatoes and zucchini. Cook for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Shred the cabbage. Add it to the soup.
Step 5
Remove the skin from the tomatoes. Add them to the soup.
Step 6
Rinse the round rice and add it to the soup. Season with salt and pepper. Add the sage to the soup. Cook for another 30 minutes.
Step 7
Before serving, sprinkle the soup with grated cheese.
