Ingredients
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - 2 fl oz
- Sake - 1 fl oz
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken fillet - 9.7 oz
- Oyster Mushrooms - 1 tablespoon
- Black Cumin (Cumin) - ½ spoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Oregano - ½ spoons
- Corn Flour for Polenta - 2 spoons
- Lime - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the grated ginger, soy sauce, sake, sugar, and oyster sauce. Heat over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow to cool.
Step 2
Cut the chicken into pieces and transfer them to a bowl, adding the prepared sauce. Mix well and let it sit for 1 hour or overnight.
Step 3
Combine the egg, herbs, and cornmeal, then add the pieces of marinated chicken and mix well.
Step 4
Heat a skillet filled one-third with oil to 356°F. Fry the chicken for 5 minutes until golden brown, making sure the pieces do not stick together.
Step 5
Place on a paper towel and serve with any sauce and lime wedges.
