Ingredients
- Fresh basil leaves - 2.8 oz
- Sorrel - 2.8 oz
- Cilantro - 2.8 oz
- Tarragon - 2.8 oz
- Dill - 2.8 oz
- Scallions - 2.8 oz
- Safflower Oil - 4 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 42.3 oz
- Matsoni - 10 fl oz
- Water - 27 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with the matzun and salt, then add water. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2
The filling is prepared separately using coarsely chopped herbs with a small amount of vegetable sunflower oil (20 ml). Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Roll out the dough (60 g) into an oval shape. Place the filling in the center and fold the edges over, gently pressing with your hand to form an oval. Bake on a stone slab or in a skillet on both sides for about 15 minutes. Serve with matzun.
