Description
There are variations of the recipe. If desired, you can add a mix of Provençal herbs. Julienne can also be made without chicken, just with mushrooms.
Ingredients
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cream - 3 fl oz
- Hard Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Salad Potatoes - 8.8 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the chicken meat, then chop it along with the onion and mushrooms. Sauté the mushrooms and onion in vegetable oil for about 5–7 minutes, then add the meat. Immediately season with salt and pepper, and pour in the cream or sour cream. Reduce the heat and cook for a couple more minutes (if adding cream, cook a bit longer until it thickens; if adding sour cream, about 1 minute).
Step 2
Grate the cheese. Mix the finished sauce with half of the cheese. Distribute into heatproof dishes, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and place in a preheated oven at 356°F for 5 minutes. Garnish with herbs when serving.
