Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Lamb - 17.6 oz
- Pea shoots - 1.8 oz
- Plums - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Fatback - 1.1 oz
- Mint - to taste
- Saffron - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the peas for several hours.
Step 2
Rinse the lamb, cut it into pieces, and cover with cold water. Add the peas and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam, add salt, and cook for 3 hours.

Peel the potatoes and add them to the soup. Season with salt.

Pit the plums and add them to the soup. Bring to a boil.

Chop the onion and add it to the soup.

Chop the fatback and add it to the soup.
Step 7
Pour boiling water over the dried saffron, let it steep, and add it to the soup. Cook for 5 minutes.
