Ingredients
- Leek - 6 oz
- Celery salt - 5.3 oz
- Puff Pastry - 4.4 oz
- Spicy salami - 1.2 oz
- Nigella Seeds - ½ teaspoon
- Natural Yogurt - 1½ tablespoons
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Water - 5 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut 12 disks from the pastry (5 cm in diameter), brush with water. Prepare 4 sandwiches using three disks of pastry and two slices of salami between them. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes at 347°F.
Step 2
Puree: thinly slice the leek and rinse. Dice the celery. Place the vegetables in a pan with oil. Sauté for 2–3 minutes, season with salt and pepper, and add water. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and continue to simmer for 10 minutes. Blend until smooth, then add yogurt and ground fennel seeds.
Step 3
Cut the sandwiches and place them on the leek puree.
