Description
In this recipe, all measurements are in American cups, and while this can sometimes be inconvenient, in this case, I decided not to convert to grams. Just maintain the volume ratio of chopped leeks and potatoes as 1/1.
Ingredients
- Leek - 7.4 oz
- Potato - 21.2 oz
- 20% Cream - 0.7 cups
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the leek, keeping the green part, and rinse well under running water, making lengthwise cuts. Chop finely.
Step 2
Peel the potato, chop finely, and combine with the leek in a pot.
Step 3
Pour in 5 or 6 cups of water, enough to cover the contents of the pot. Place on the heat and cook until ready, about 15 minutes.
Step 4
Add salt, blend the contents with a blender, and serve, adding cream. Bon Appetit!
