Ingredients

  • Vodka - 1 qt
  • Lemon - 15 pieces
  • Sugar - 28.2 oz
  • Water - 1 qt

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Wash the lemons, peel them, and remove the white pith.

Step 2

Place the peels in a 4-liter jar with a wide mouth and a screw cap.

Step 3

Pour in 1 bottle of vodka and mix well.

Step 4

Seal the jar, label it with the date, and store it in a dark place at room temperature.

Step 5

Take it out after 40 days.

Step 6

Pour water into a pot, add sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 7

Allow the syrup to cool completely.

Step 8

Pour the syrup into the vodka infused with lemon peels, add a second bottle of vodka, and mix thoroughly.

Step 9

Screw on the lid, label it with the date, and let it sit for another 40 days.

Step 10

On the 80th day, take the jar out of the dark place, strain it, and remove the lemon peels.

Step 11

Pour into clean bottles and seal with tight caps. Place one bottle in the refrigerator to chill, and store the others in the pantry.
