Ingredients
- Chicken Liver - 31.7 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 heads
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Dill - 0.4 oz
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
- Lingonberry - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Season the liver with salt, pepper, and spices, and let it sit at room temperature for a while.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Chop the carrot and add it to the pan, sautéing it.
Step 3
After about 7 minutes, add the chopped onion and sauté until the vegetables are cooked.
Step 4
Now it's time to sauté the liver until it's cooked through.
Step 5
Pass the sautéed liver through a meat grinder. Pass the sautéed vegetables through the meat grinder as well.
Step 6
Grind the liver-vegetable mixture a second time through the meat grinder.
Step 7
Add the room temperature butter to the pâté and mix well.
Step 8
Shape the pâté on a plate like a Christmas tree. Garnish with dill, mayonnaise, and berries. Serve.
