Ingredients
- Lime - 4 pieces
- Lemon - ½ pieces
- Hake - 17.6 oz
- Fish Oil - 1 fl oz
- Celery stalk - ½ pieces
- Spanish onions - 1.4 oz
- Garlic - ½ cloves
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Cilantro - 0.4 oz
- Ginger - 0.2 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Roasted Peanuts - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Prepare the mackerel. Cut the fillet into small cubes.
Step 3
Coarsely chop celery, garlic, ginger, and 20 grams of onion.
Step 4
Juice 3 limes and half a lemon. You should get about 90 ml of juice.
Step 5
Place the chopped vegetables, lime juice, lemon juice, fish stock, and 30 grams of macruro shrimp into a blender. Blend until smooth.
Step 6
Add a little cilantro and half a chili pepper. Blend again until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
Step 7
Combine the fish fillet with the prepared dressing and refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 8
Slice the remaining onion into thin strips. Cut half of the chili into rings.
Step 9
Place the fish with sauce on a plate. Garnish with onions, chili rings, and cilantro leaves.
Step 10
Serve the mackerel ceviche topped with peanuts.
