Ingredients
- Lime Juice - 2 fl oz
- Onion - 2.5 oz
- Celery stalk - 2.5 oz
- Fish Oil - 5 fl oz
- Cilantro - 0.7 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - ½ piece
- Smoked haddock fillet - 17.6 oz
- Spanish onions - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Chop the celery stalk into large pieces.
Step 3
Mix lime juice, onion, celery, fish stock, 10 grams of cilantro, chili pepper, and 50 grams of fish.
Step 4
Blend the mixture until a smooth sauce is obtained.
Step 5
Let the sauce rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Strain the infused sauce through cheesecloth or a fine sieve.
Step 7
Cut the remaining fish into large cubes.
Step 8
Slice the red onion into thin rings and chop the remaining cilantro.
Step 9
Combine the mackerel with the onion and cilantro, pour the sauce over, and season with salt to taste. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Step 10
Serve the ceviche immediately.
