Description
Marbled Beef Burger in Ciabatta
Ingredients
- Ciabatta - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 0.7 oz
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Marbled Beef - 17.6 oz
- Worcestershire Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Green Butter - 1 bunch
- Sliced Processed Cheese - 2.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make a good ground beef mixture from coarsely ground marbled beef. This type of grind will add juiciness to the patties and help keep all the juices inside.
Step 2
Mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard, adding salt and pepper. Form 2 patties with small indentations in the center. For the mayonnaise, mix a pinch of salt, the juice of half a lemon, mustard, and an egg in a large glass. Turn on the blender to medium speed and slowly pour in 150 ml of vegetable oil. After 1 minute, the thick homemade mayonnaise is ready.
Step 3
Heat a skillet, add a bit of oil, and fry the patties for 8–10 minutes over medium-high heat, turning occasionally.
Step 4
Slice the tomato into rings and the cucumber lengthwise.
Step 5
Cut the ciabatta in half, then cut each half into 2 pieces to make 4 equal buns.
Step 6
Assemble the burger: ciabatta, a tablespoon of mayonnaise, a lettuce leaf, a patty, a slice of cheese, tomato, and cucumber, ciabatta.
