  • Pickles - 7.1 oz
  • Spanish onions - 5.3 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 5 tablespoons
  • Capers - 3 tablespoons
  • Green peppercorns - to taste
  • Bay leaf - 4 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil - to taste
  • Lemon - to taste
  • Herbs - to taste
  • Olives stuffed with lemon - to taste
  • Meat - 17.6 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Start by boiling the meat. The broth for solyanka should be strong and rich. However, if this is too much for you, you can make the broth from a small piece with a bone and dilute the strong broth with water.

Step 2

Slice the boiled meat, ham, sausage, and hot dogs into thin slices. Cut the pickles diagonally into diamond shapes or thin strips. Chop the onion into rings.

Step 3

Sauté the onion with the tomato paste in olive oil. Add the meat and sausage products to the boiling broth and bring it to a boil.

Step 4

Then add the pickles and onion, wait for it to boil again, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for about ten minutes. Add the bay leaves, then the olives, and capers to warm them through.
