Ingredients
- Chicken Broth - 84 fl oz
- Potato - 10.6 oz
- Boneless pork shoulder - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 3.5 oz
- Parsley - 1.8 oz
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1.8 oz
- Mixed Ground Peppers - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Allspice berries - 5 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the potatoes, wash them well, and cut them into cubes.
Step 2
If necessary, strain the prepared meat broth through a sieve, bring it to a boil, add the potatoes, allspice berries, and 1 teaspoon of salt to the boiling broth.
Step 3
Peel the carrot, wash it well, cut it into strips, and add it to the broth. Cook for about 30 minutes until the potatoes and carrots are ready.
Step 4
Wash the pork shoulder well under running water, dry it, and cut it into pieces suitable for grinding.
Step 5
Pass the prepared meat through a meat grinder.
Step 6
Peel the onion, wash it well under running water, and either grind it through a meat grinder or grate it finely, then add it to the bowl with the minced meat.
Step 7
Add 1 teaspoon of mixed ground peppers to the bowl with the minced meat.
Step 8
Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the minced meat. Mix everything well.
Step 9
Add 1 chicken egg to the minced meat. Mix the minced meat again and slightly beat it.
Step 10
Using a teaspoon and wet hands, form meatballs and place them in the broth with the cooked potatoes. Cook for about 5–10 minutes until the meatballs are ready.
Step 11
Wash the parsley and bell pepper well, peel, and finely chop.
Step 12
Add the chopped herbs and bell pepper to the pot.
Step 13
Cook the soup for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
