Description
A perfect and time-tested combination—green peas, mint, and Parma ham. Make sure all three elements are present; otherwise, the magic won't happen.
Ingredients
- Frozen green bean pods - 17.6 oz
- Parma Ham - 3.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 5.3 oz
- Fresh Mint - 0.7 oz
- Chicken Broth - ½ l
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sauté the sliced ham with pepper in olive oil until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel.
Step 2
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add a handful of mint leaves, followed by the green peas, and cook for two to three minutes until the peas are tender but still retain their color. Then drain the water into a separate container, and transfer the peas and mint to a blender. Add half a liter of vegetable broth and blend until smooth. Finally, stir in a little olive oil and sour cream, and blend again.
Step 3
Serve in warmed plates, adding some ham and a few drops of sour cream to each.
