Mixed Solyanka with Prunes
Ingredients
- Semi-Smoked Sausage - 3.5 oz
- Lamb Neck Fillet - 17.6 oz
- Cervelat Sausage - 3.5 oz
- Prunes - 5.3 oz
- Parsley - 0.7 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Margarine - 2 tablespoons
- Pickles - 2 pieces
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Green peppercorns - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the beef, cover with cold water, add salt, place a piece of parsley root, and boil until cooked.
Step 2
Transfer the meat to a colander using a slotted spoon. Remove the parsley root.
Step 3
Peel the onion, finely chop it, and sauté in margarine. Sauté the tomato paste separately.
Step 4
Peel the pickles and remove the seeds, then cut them into diagonal strips.
Step 5
Bring the broth to a boil, add the rinsed prunes cut into strips, and cook for 10 minutes. Add the sautéed onion, tomato paste, and the sausages and meat cut into strips, and cook for another 10-15 minutes, seasoning with spices. When serving, sprinkle with herbs.
