Ingredients
- Pizza Mozzarella Cheese - 10.6 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Basil - ½ bunch
- Breadcrumbs - 3.5 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- Parsley - ½ bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the basil and parsley, dry them, and chop them in a blender. Add the egg and a pinch of salt, and blend well.
Step 2
Remove the mozzarella balls from the whey and dry them.
Step 3
Dip each ball first in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs. Then dip again in the egg, and finally back in the breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Heat the olive oil in a skillet. It's best to fry no more than 3-4 balls at a time, as you can't keep track of all of them.
Step 5
Fry for 1 minute on each side.
Step 6
Place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 7
Serve warm. You will end up with about 50 balls.
