Description

This recipe uses red dry wine, but if you prefer a sweeter mulled wine, feel free to use any other type.

Ingredients

  • Red Grape Juice - 25 fl oz
  • Oranges - 1 piece
  • Apple - 1 piece
  • Water - 8 fl oz
  • Cinnamon - 2 pieces
  • Ginger - 5.3 oz
  • Star anise - 0.1 oz
  • Ground clove - 3 pieces
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Peel and finely chop the ginger.

Cut the orange into 4 pieces.

Cut the apple into 6 pieces and remove the core.

Place the ginger and spices in a deep pot.

Pour in 100 ml of wine and set to high heat.
