Ingredients
- Mung Beans - 8.8 oz
- Tahini - 0.4 oz
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
- Black Cumin (Cumin) - to taste
- Coriander essential oil - to taste
- Paprika - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Olive Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Soak the mung beans in cold water and leave for 6 hours.
Step 3
Drain the water, bring fresh water to a boil in a pot, and add the mung beans.
Step 4
Cook for 30 minutes until the mung beans are tender.
Step 5
Drain the cooked mung beans using a colander, reserving a little of the cooking water, and transfer them to a blender bowl.
Step 6
Add tahini and a clove of garlic.
Step 7
Add cumin and coriander.
Step 8
Blend everything until smooth. If necessary, add some of the cooking water from the mung beans.
Step 9
Taste and add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to your liking. Mix well.
Step 10
Serve the hummus garnished with paprika and olive oil.
