Mushroom and Gruyère Tartlets
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry - 8.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Shallot - 1 piece
- Pickled Chanterelles - 17.6 oz
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 teaspoons
- Grated Chocolate - 2.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 374°F.
Step 2
Roll out the dough and cut out 6 circles with a diameter of 8 cm. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate.
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped shallot and sauté until soft, about 3 minutes. Add the thinly sliced mushrooms and sauté until soft, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the thyme and remove from heat.
Step 4
Grease 6 muffin tins with oil. Distribute the mushrooms and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with the dough circles on top and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
Step 5
Invert the tartlets onto a plate and serve warm.
