Ingredients
- Pickled Chanterelles - 14.1 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 5 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 4.4 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 4.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dice the onion and slice the mushrooms. Sauté in vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Separate the yolks from the whites. Whisk the yolks with a pinch of salt, add 2/3 of the sour cream, mix, and pour over the mushrooms.
Step 3
Whip the egg whites to a foam, combine with the breadcrumbs (set some aside for topping), add salt and pepper, and mix. Pour over the mushrooms. Mix everything well.
Step 4
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the mushroom mixture in the dish and spread the remaining sour cream on top.
Step 5
Bake for 30–35 minutes at 356°F.
