Mushroom Cappuccino with Nutmeg
Ingredients
- Butter - 0.9 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh Mushrooms - 7.1 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken Broth - 10 fl oz
- Cream - 2 fl oz
- Nutmeg - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Ciabatta - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a deep pot, heat the butter and olive oil. Add the chopped mushrooms and finely chopped garlic, and sauté for 3 minutes. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5–6 minutes.
Step 2
Add the cream and grated nutmeg, season to taste. Using an immersion blender, whip until frothy. Pour into cappuccino cups. Place sliced ciabatta on a saucer.
