Description
Mushroom Custard
Ingredients
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 8 pieces
- Serrano Chili - 3.5 oz
- Sherry - 5 tablespoons
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Milk - 25 fl oz
- Béchamel sauce - 7 fl oz
- Fresh Mushrooms - 7.1 oz
- Lemon - ½ piece
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Grease a round pudding mold with butter. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the ham, sherry, and ground nutmeg, and season with salt (a little, keeping in mind that the ham is salty). Mix well and gradually add the warm milk in small amounts to the mixture. Pour everything into the mold and bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes until the custard sets.
Step 2
Coarsely chop the mushrooms and place them in a skillet with butter, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 6 minutes. Remove the custard from the oven and invert it onto a plate. Pour the béchamel sauce in the center and arrange the mushrooms around the custard. Serve immediately.
