Ingredients
- Tofu - 7.1 oz
- Dried Chinese mushrooms - 1.8 oz
- Peanut Butter - 1.1 oz
- Miso Paste - 0.7 oz
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Mixed spices for Christmas pudding - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Rinse the shiitake mushrooms and soak them in warm water for 2–3 hours until they swell.
Step 3
Chop the swollen shiitake mushrooms into small cubes.
Step 4
Transfer the shiitake mushrooms to a blender, add tofu, peanut butter, and miso paste.
Step 5
Pour in the water and blend everything together until smooth.
Step 6
Taste and add salt, pepper, and mixed spices as needed.
Step 7
Serve the tofu and shiitake pâté on crackers or toasted bread.
