Mushroom Pâté with White Wine

Ingredients

  • Morels - 17.6 oz
  • Shallot - 3.5 oz
  • Butter - 2.8 oz
  • 33% Cream - 7 fl oz
  • Dry White Wine - 3 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.

Step 2

Slice the mushrooms.

Step 3

Chop the shallots into thin strips.

Step 4

In a skillet, heat the butter over low heat and sauté the shallots until translucent.

Step 5

Add the mushrooms and pour in the white wine.

Step 6

Reduce the wine and continue to sauté the mushrooms until soft.

Step 7

Transfer the mushrooms to a blender, add the cream, and blend until smooth. Season with salt to taste.

Step 8

Pass the mixture through a sieve to achieve a finer texture.

Step 9

Transfer the pâté to an airtight container or jars. Refrigerate for a few hours to cool and set.

Step 10

Serve the mushroom pâté on your favorite bread.
