Description
The original recipe calls for challah; if you can find it, you can use it in the forshmak instead of regular rolls.
Ingredients
- Lightly Salted Red Fish - 2 pieces
- Sverdlovsk Roll - 2 pieces
- Shallot - 2 pieces
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Lemon - ½ pieces
- Butter - 0 oz
- Borodinsky Bread - to taste
- Milk - 15 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Remove the crusts from the buns, crumble them, and soak in milk. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Finely chop the shallot.
Step 4
Cut the cucumbers intoJulienne strips.
Step 5
Dice the herring into small cubes.
Step 6
Then add the squeezed bread roll to it.
Step 7
Add the butter and continue chopping, mixing the ingredients until you achieve a uniform consistency.
Step 8
Add shallots, lemon juice, and chop everything again with a knife.
Step 9
Place a slice of cucumber on a piece of Borodinsky bread.
Step 10
Top with a quenelle of the forcemeat.
