Okroshka with Kefir and Kvass
Ingredients
- Doctor's Sausage - 10.6 oz
- Turnips - 6 pieces
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Kefir - 17 fl oz
- Bread Kvass - 17 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the boiled eggs with a knife.
Step 2
Cut the Doctor's sausage into small cubes.
Step 3
Also cut the fresh cucumbers into cubes.
Step 4
Mash the boiled potatoes.
Step 5
Cut the radishes into cubes, just like all the vegetables.
Step 6
Rinse a small bunch of dill under running water, dry it with a paper towel, and chop finely.
Step 7
Chop the green onion tops.
Step 8
Combine all the ingredients in a pot or any deep container and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 9
Serve the desired portion in a deep plate.
Step 10
Pour cold kefir mixed with kvass over it. Adjust the ratio according to your taste preference. Enjoy your meal!
