Description
If you don't have onion-flavored cheese, you can use any cream cheese, and boil a whole onion along with the potatoes. Remove the onion before adding the other ingredients.
Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes - 5 pieces
- Herbed Cream Cheese - 17.6 oz
- Turnips - 2 pieces
- Croutons - to taste
- Dill - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In boiling water (2 liters), add diced potatoes and cook until tender. Add a little salt.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a separate pot, place the cheese and pour in water taken from the pot with the boiling potatoes. Blend into a puree.
Step 3
In a skillet, sauté the grated carrots.
Step 4
When the potatoes are cooked, add the carrots and cheese mixture. Adjust salt if necessary. Bring to a boil.
Step 5
Serve chopped dill and croutons separately.
