- Butter - 8.1 oz
- Chili jam - ½ cup
- Brown Sugar - ¼ cup
- Worcestershire Sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Absinthe - 1 teaspoon
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 1 tablespoon
- TABASCO® - to taste

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Slice the onions into thin rings and place them in a baking dish.
Step 2
In a saucepan, combine the butter, chili sauce, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, absinthe, and a bit of TABASCO sauce. Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce the heat, and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over the onions, sprinkle with Parmesan, and place in the oven for about 30 minutes, stirring until the onions are soft.
