Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a heavy-bottomed pot, melt the butter, add the olive oil, chopped sage leaves, and minced garlic.
Step 2
Add the sliced onions, salt, and pepper. Sauté the onions until soft for 30-40 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
