- White bread - 15.9 oz
- Salmon - 7.1 oz
- Ocean salt - 0.4 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, rinse the fish under cold running water. Make a cut along the backbone, separate the fillet, and remove all the bones.
Step 2
Using a knife, remove the skin from the fillet.
Step 3
Slice the salmon fillet into thin strips (no thicker than 1–1.5 cm).
Step 4
Place the first layer of fish at the bottom of a dish (I use a ceramic pot). Sprinkle with a pinch or two of coarse sea salt and pepper. Repeat the layers until the last piece, making sure to sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Place a plate upside down on top and add a weight of 2 kg. Leave it in a cool place overnight.
Step 6
In the morning, prepare sandwiches for breakfast. Slice the fresh white bread and place a piece of fish on top.
