Ingredients

  • Cake crumbs - 4 cups
  • Farm fresh eggs - 4 pieces
  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Cream - 8 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 teaspoons
  • Worcestershire Sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 fl oz
  • Fresh Oysters - 36 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 374°F. Grease a rectangular baking dish with butter.

Step 2

Spread the breadcrumbs on a baking sheet and place in the oven for 15 minutes, stirring constantly, until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and let cool.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix the eggs, cream, milk, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and 0.25 teaspoons each of salt and black pepper. Gradually fold in the breadcrumbs and oysters.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
