Ingredients
- Shimeji mushrooms - 4.2 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Grated Ginger Root - 2 teaspoons
- Chicken Broth - ¼ cup
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chili jam - 1 teaspoon
- Pak choi salad - 3 pieces
- Scallions - 3 pieces
- Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut off the bottom part of the pak choi stem, steam the leaves until tender, ensuring they retain their color. Transfer to plates.
Step 2
Remove the stems from the mushrooms and slice the caps into thin pieces.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 7 minutes.
Step 4
Add the finely chopped garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute.
Step 5
Pour in the broth, then add the soy sauce and chili sauce. Cook until the sauce slightly thickens. Add sesame oil and remove from heat.
Step 6
Place the mushrooms on the pak choi and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
