Description

You can prepare the pancakes according to your own recipe, the main thing is that they should be thin. You can leave the cilantro and sprinkle it on top of the pancakes. If you already have prepared pancakes, the cooking takes 15–20 minutes. On average, 3–4 pancakes are served per portion, with an average diameter of 20 cm.

Ingredients

  • Beef - 3.5 oz
  • Marinated cherries - 1.8 oz
  • Onion - 1.8 oz
  • Milk - 7 fl oz
  • Wheat Flour - 2.5 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Mild Chili Spice - 1.1 oz
  • Ground Cumin - 0.2 oz
  • Cilantro - 0.2 oz
  • Salt - 0.2 oz
  • Sugar - 0.1 oz
  • Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
  • Butter - 0.4 oz
  • Tomatoes - 3.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Warm the milk to room temperature (do not heat it too much). Then add the eggs, flour, salt, and sugar to the milk to taste. Mix everything well to avoid lumps. Finally, you can add a little vegetable oil. Let the mixed batter sit for about 10–15 minutes. Then, in a non-stick frying pan, fry thin pancakes.

Step 2

Cut the beef into small strips about 2–3 cm long. Dice the onion and chili pepper, and quarter the cherry tomatoes. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove and start sautéing the onion and chili pepper. After a couple of minutes, add the chopped meat and continue cooking until nearly done, adding salt and pepper to taste. Then add the crushed tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and cumin. Continue cooking on low heat. Once the sauce begins to thicken, add the butter and chopped cilantro (if needed, add salt and pepper to taste).

Step 3

Place a small amount of meat (try to avoid the sauce) in each pancake and roll it up, tucking in the edges. Repeat with all the pancakes.

Step 4

Then place the pancakes on a plate and pour the remaining sauce from the filling on top.
