Description
You can use herbs to your taste, but it's better to avoid strong herbs that can overpower the flavor of the peas (I would be cautious with dill, parsley, etc.). This doesn't mean you can't use them, but the quantity should be reduced.
Ingredients
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Frozen green bean pods - 5.3 oz
- Avocado - 2 pieces
- Lime Juice - 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add the peas directly from the freezer to cold water and start heating on low heat. You need to catch the moment when the peas heat up and thaw but do not cook.
Step 2
Drain the water.
Step 3
Peel the avocado and drizzle with lime juice.
Step 4
Place the peas, avocado, cilantro leaves, and olive oil in a food processor.
Step 5
Blend until the puree is 'chunky' but not completely smooth; to achieve this effect, it's better to add the oil gradually. Start with 2 tablespoons, then gradually add the rest.
Step 6
Serve as a side dish with meat, chicken, or salmon.
