Peach Spritzer with Rosemary
Ingredients
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Water - 12 fl oz
- Donut Peaches - 4 pieces
- Fresh Rose Hips - 4 sprigs
- Crushed ice - to taste
- Dry White Wine - 32 fl oz
- Soda water - 1 qt
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Cut the peaches in half, remove the pits, and slice them. Place them in the sugar syrup and add the rosemary sprigs. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Cover and let cool. Then remove the rosemary sprigs. You can peel the peaches if desired.
Step 3
Transfer the peaches along with the syrup to a container, cover, and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Step 4
In each glass, place 2 slices of peach, pour in 60 ml of syrup, and add plenty of ice. Pour in 120 ml of wine and fill the rest with soda water. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and serve immediately.
