- Olive Oil - 2 fl oz
- Penne rigate - 12.3 oz
- Cherry Tomatoes - 8.8 oz
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 3.5 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar - 5 fl oz
- Sugar - 2.5 oz
- Garlic - 0.4 oz
- Basil - 2.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the penne al dente, then set aside.
Step 2
Cut the cherry tomatoes and blanch them in boiling water, then transfer them to ice water, after which peel off the skins.
Step 3
For the balsamic sauce, sauté the garlic in olive oil until golden, remove the garlic, and add the balsamic vinegar, sugar, and finely sliced basil. Simmer for a few minutes, adjusting the taste with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Before serving, sauté the cherry tomatoes with the penne and balsamic sauce in olive oil.
Step 5
