Ingredients
- Sushi Rice - 4.2 oz
- Dried Nori Seaweed - 0 oz
- Avocado - 1 piece
- Salmon - 2.1 oz
- Cucumbers - 1 piece
- Philadelphia Cheese - 1.2 oz
- Wasabi - to taste
- Pickled garlic - to taste
- Soy Sauce - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the nori seaweed, shiny side down, on the makisu.
Step 2
Spread a layer of rice evenly over the pressed nori seaweed, wetting your hands with tezu, leaving a 1 cm edge at the far side without rice. Flip the sheet so that the rice is on the surface of the bamboo mat.
Step 3
In the center of the nori seaweed, spread wasabi, then add Philadelphia cream cheese.
Step 4
Peel the cucumber and avocado, then slice them into strips and place them in the center of the nori.
Step 5
After filling the roll, start rolling it gently, then apply slight pressure to the mat. Press down in the middle and shape the roll into a log.
Step 6
Slice the salmon into thin pieces and place them on the roll, pressing down gently.
Step 7
Slice the 'Philadelphia' roll into 6 equal pieces and serve with pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce.
