- Pickles - 2 pieces
- Salad Potatoes - 2 pieces

- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Pearl barley - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cook the beef broth, skimming off any foam if necessary.
Step 2
In a separate pan, prepare a sauté of carrots, onions, and celery in butter.
Step 3
Add chopped potatoes to the boiling broth.
Step 4
When the potatoes are half cooked, add the barley and then the chopped pickles.
Step 5
