Description
Five servings of pkhali is approximately 15 balls. Pkhali is delicious when served with cheese bread.
Ingredients
- White Cabbage - 14.1 oz
- Beetroot - 7.1 oz
- Shelled pumpkin seeds - 7.1 oz
- Onion - 2.5 oz
- Cilantro - 0.4 oz
- Parsley - 0.2 oz
- Green Hot Adjika - 0.2 oz
- Spanish onions - 1 head
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Roughly chop the cabbage and beetroot. Boil them together in a pot until tender. Drain the cabbage to remove excess water and let it cool.
Step 2
Next, pass the cabbage, beetroot, onion, and walnuts through a meat grinder.
Step 3
Mix well.
Step 4
Finely chop the parsley and cilantro and add them to the mixture.
Step 5
Add adjika and salt.
Step 6
Stir.
Step 7
Form small balls (about 60 grams each) and place them on a plate.
Step 8
Garnish with pomegranate seeds, red onion rings, and parsley.
