- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Onion - 3 heads
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Bread roll - 2 pieces
- Pork Mince - 2 lbs
- Boiled Veal - 8.8 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 8 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 8 fl oz
- Rye Bread - to taste
- Mustard Greens - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Slice 2 onions into rings. Sauté in the butter, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until caramelized, about 25 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, place the slices of bread roll in a bowl and pour the milk over them. Let the bread soak up the milk and then break it into small pieces. Add 1 finely chopped onion, the ground pork, 120 ml of breadcrumbs, minced garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form 10 patties from the mixture. Coat the patties in the remaining breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties on both sides, then place them on a plate. Place the cooked patties on pieces of bread, top with the sautéed onions, and spread with mustard. Enjoy your meal!
