- Salted pork belly - 3 lbs
- Onion - to taste
- Bay leaf - 5 pieces
- Salt - 6 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Ground clove - to taste
- Garlic - to taste
- Rosemary - to taste
- Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Season the meat with salt and pepper, rub with garlic. Roll it up and tie with nylon thread.
Step 2
Pour water into a pot, season with salt and pepper, add spices and onion peel.
Step 3
Place the meat in the pot with water and spices and cook for 1 hour. Let it marinate in brine for one day.
