Ingredients
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Sweet Pepper - 14.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Champagne Vinegar - 0 fl oz
- Miso Paste - 1 tablespoon
- Tofu - 1.8 oz
- Beef tongue - 2 pieces
- Mulled Wine - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion and garlic into large cubes, remove the seeds from the pepper and cut it into large pieces as well. Cut the tomatoes into large wedges.
Step 2
In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté half of the onion and garlic until softened. Add diced tofu and cook for a couple more minutes, then season with salt.
Step 3
Blend the sautéed onion, garlic, and tofu together with a small amount of broth and miso paste until you achieve a thick sauce consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
In a skillet, sauté the remaining onion, garlic, tomatoes, and peppers over medium heat, stirring frequently. Add sweet wine or another type of strong sweet alcohol.
Step 5
Whisk 50 ml of olive oil with honey and vinegar. Peel the boiled pork tongue, cut it into large longitudinal pieces, and sauté it with the honey sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve the tongue with a vegetable garnish and a tofu sauce.
