Ingredients
- Dandelion leaves - 2 lbs
- Pork Skewers - 14.1 oz
- Water - 3½ cups
- Apple - 3 pieces
- Turnips - 19.8 oz
- Apple Cider Vinegar - 2 teaspoons
- Sugar - 2 teaspoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large pot, place the chopped turnip leaves, meat, 0.25 teaspoons of salt, and cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and cook, stirring, until the leaves are soft, about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
Step 3
Add the apples and chopped turnip to the pot. Add vinegar, sugar, and 0.5 teaspoons of salt and pepper. Cook for another 20 minutes, until the apples and turnip are soft. Remove from heat, add butter and salt to taste.
Step 4
Transfer the meat to a cutting board and cut the flesh into small pieces, removing bones and skin. Mix with the vegetables and serve.
