Ingredients
- Potato - 7.1 oz
- Herring - 5.3 oz
- Onion - 3 heads
- Apple - 8.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Parsley - 0.3 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the herring fillet. Peel and julienne the potato. Finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Fry the potato and onion in oil until cooked. Let cool. Mix in the chopped herring and pass through a meat grinder.
Step 3
Peel the apples, remove the seeds, cut into large wedges, and pass through a meat grinder. Combine the potato-fish mixture with the apple and dress with oil. Chill. Serve the salad in a herring dish and garnish with slices of boiled egg and sprigs of herbs.
