Step 1
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Cut the onion into strips. The meat should be cut like for cutlets, with pieces about eight centimeters long and wide after being pounded.
Step 2
Place all the ingredients in a deep frying pan or a baking dish with high sides, greasing the bottom with vegetable oil beforehand. The order of layering is as follows: half of the potatoes, half of the onions, the meat, the remaining onions, and the potatoes. Each layer should be salted on top.
Step 3
Drizzle the top layer with mayonnaise and place it in the oven for half an hour.
