Description

- White Cabbage - 3 lbs
- Onion - 21.2 oz
- Carrot - 21.2 oz
- Tomatoes - 21.2 oz
- Sweet Pepper - 21.2 oz
- Parsley - 1.8 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
- Salt - 2 spoons
- Sugar - 4 spoons
- 9% Vinegar - 2 fl oz
- Water - 7 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Slice the onion into half-rings. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Remove the seeds and core from the pepper and cut it into strips. Slice the tomatoes into wedges.
Step 4
Shred the cabbage.
Step 5
Finely chop the parsley.
Step 6
Place all the vegetables in a large pot, add water, and stir while bringing to a boil over medium heat.
Step 7
Add the oil, salt, and sugar, making sure to stir continuously. Bring it to a boil again and cook for 5–7 minutes.
Step 8
Add vinegar, let it simmer for 1 minute, and then reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
Step 9
Place the prepared mixture into sterilized jars, making sure to eliminate any air pockets. Seal the jars, turn them upside down, and cover with a blanket.
Step 10
Once the jars have cooled, turn them upside down again. Store the preserves in a dark place.
