Description
Ingredients are for 30 pieces.
Ingredients
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Water - 7 fl oz
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Lightly Salted Red Fish - 7.1 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 7.1 oz
- Dill - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place butter and salt in a saucepan. Pour in the water. Put it on the heat and keep it until the butter melts.
Step 2
Remove from heat and stir in the flour. Return to the stove and keep on heat, stirring constantly, until the dough becomes homogeneous and starts to pull away from the sides of the saucepan. Remove from the heat.
Step 3
Add the eggs one at a time to the dough, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe small mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (If you don't have a piping bag, you can spoon the dough onto the baking sheet.)
Step 4
Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven at 392°F and bake the profiteroles until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature.
Step 5
Prepare the filling. Cut the fish into small pieces. Mash the cheese with a fork and mix in the finely chopped dill. Add the fish and mix well.
Step 6
Cut the tops off each profiterole and fill them with the filling. Replace the tops and serve.
