Description

Provencal Salad is a fresh and vibrant dish that celebrates the flavors of the Mediterranean. It typically includes ripe tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, sweet bell peppers, and fragrant herbs like basil and parsley. Tossed in a light vinaigrette, this salad is perfect as a side dish or a light main course. Enjoy it on a sunny day or serve it at a gathering with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • Courgette - 1 piece
  • Rice Paper - 2 pieces
  • Sweet Pepper - 1 piece
  • Tomatoes - 2 pieces
  • Radish - 3 pieces
  • Celery stalk - 1 piece
  • Kenyan Beans - 4 pieces
  • Cucumbers - 1 piece
  • Quail Egg - 4 pieces
  • Mustard Greens - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 2 spoons
  • Malt Vinegar - ½ spoons
  • Basil - 4 stalks
  • Romaine lettuce - 2 pieces
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Remove the seeds from the bell pepper. Cut it, along with the zucchini, romaine lettuce, celery, and cucumber into thick strips; slice the tomatoes into wedges; cut the radishes into rounds; and halve the hard-boiled quail eggs. Tear the leaves from the basil stems.

Step 2

Dip the rice paper in water for two seconds and place it on damp cloth napkins for half a minute.

Step 3

Place the sliced zucchini, cucumber, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, celery stalk, sweet pepper, basil leaves, halved quail eggs, and Kenyan beans onto rice paper, then finish with overlapping and arranged slices of radish. Pinch the ends together and roll into tight tubes.

Step 4

For the sauce, mix the mustard with olive oil, then add salt and vinegar.

Step 5

Serve the salad rolls with a sauce that acts as a dip in this case.
